About
David Maldonado is a San Diego–based Spanish guitarist, composer, and Latin GRAMMY–nominated songwriter whose career spans intimate solo sets to full Flamenco Symphony productions with orchestra and dancers. A violin prodigy by eight, he turned to classical guitar by ten and was performing concerts and studying with Pepe and Celin Romero—the Royal Family of the Classical Guitar—before he was fifteen.
His albums DAVICAS and Davicas XX topped Billboard and iTunes charts; the Los Angeles Times hailed him a “Guitar Virtuoso.” He has toured internationally, composed two original symphonies, sold out major U.S. theaters, and recorded for Bravo, Discovery, ABC, and film.
